    Love Alvarez. Great to see that the obvious pick was made.
    I like the risk taken on Scheppers … fits new management’s mold of developing power arms. Hopefully the injury isn’t too serious.
    The system desperately needs help up the middle, and pulling in two college shortstops (to add to Brians Friday and Bixler) should address depth concerns. It’ll be interesting to see if these guys stick at short or end up at second.
    Grossman sounds like a clone of Nate McLouth. No complaints there, either.
